Jamie Coyne (born 2 January 1982 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia) is an Australian football (soccer) player. He currently plays as a Center- back

Club career

Early career

After standing out at state league level with Perth S.C. after returning from West Ham and then starring with Perth Glory in the old NSL, Jamie went to play in Holland for ADO Den Haag where he didn’t make a league appearance.

Perth Glory

After a stop start time in holland with ADO Den Haag where he made no league appearances for the club he decided to return to Australia and play for Perth Glory for the 2nd time in his career but instead in the inaugural A League season.

Jamie was a part of the Perth Glory team that made the finals for the first time in the clubs A-League history, during the 2009/10 season. However, the team bowed out to the Wellington Phoenix on penalties. He played over 100 games for the club.

Sydney FC

After several seasons in Perth, Coyne was offered a two year contract at Sydney FC running through 2013 after performing well with Perth Glory as a central defender.Known for his physical presence, pace and commitment. His first goal came in his third match for the club against Adelaide United F.C.
